I am honoured to be working with Spooders again, with my peers Estelle, Jasreen, Justine, Lizandro and Tori. For this assignment, we looked at how Singaporeans experience one specific green space - Gardens by the Bay. We interviewed 30 members of the public and gained rich, insightful responses regarding their full experience at the gardens, right from their planning of coming to the gardens and up till them leaving.
We explored why they went there, what they got out of being there and what they took away with them. We looked at their experience of Gardens by the Bay through social, environmental and economic perspectives and mapped out one comprehensive end to end journey that brings together what we have learned from our interviews.
For this assignment, we delivered these 3 products:
1. Developed a discovery process for our project team so that we could prepare for, conduct interviews and then make sense of our data - which was a product of reflecting on our first discovery process (for the Systems Mapping), what worked well and what didn't.
2. Designed an end to end journey map that brought to life the complexity and nuance of how different types of visitors experience Gardens by the Bay.
3. Planned and participated in a shared design reflection with a teammate, in my case it was with Lizandro.
