
It also acts as a personal manifesto expressing my positionality, taking into account the lectures, workshops and tutorials on responsible practice, access, and the role and potential for communication design.
The manifest includes a 500 word textual narrative, integrated with supplementary imagery.
It also includes 2 experiments in self-tracking vernacular visualisation and engages with the following course learning objectives:
- To describe and evaluate a range of positions in the design community, with regard to the social, cultural and professional practice of communication design
- To analyse how my creative, practical and professional expertise prepares me for future study and a career in the creative industries
- To identify a range of roles and tasks within conventional and emerging communication design practices
