“Uprooting” is a personal photo zine tracing my creative and emotional growth over the past year as I thread through the daunting Bachelor's Degree in Communication Design programme at SIM-RMIT. Through original film photography, both heavily flawed and strikingly vibrant, it documents a nonlinear journey of self-discovery, shifting from external validation to inward purpose. Layered with text, multilingual phrases, revolving concept of roots and evolving colour palettes, the zine explores the beauty in imperfection, the pain of change, and the quiet strength of becoming. It is both a reflection and a release.

This is a rework, enhancement, redux and internal reframing, directed from an earlier manifesto done a year ago when the course commenced, titled "Who Is It Really For?".
